Drain cleaning is an essential component of the sewer line system, allowing it to perform to its full potential without inhibitions. If cleanings aren’t regularly scheduled, common problems like clogs and backups can form. At Freedom Plumbers, we are equipped to handle these problems and fix them accordingly, advocating proper drain cleaning and maintenance. We are proud to offer excellent customer service and innovative solutions that reflect the professionalism of our team of drain cleaning experts.
Our Drain Cleaning Process
At Freedom Plumbers, we perform a camera inspection in order to find the location of the clog before anything else. The camera we send into the pipes is small and gives us the flexibility to examine the condition of the pipes as a whole without needing to excavate. Once we have pinpointed the clog and assessed its size, we recommend the best solution.
We have two methods of drain cleaning that we employ depending on the pipeline problems we encounter. The first one is called hydro jetting, and in this approach, we insert a cable with a nozzle that streams high-pressurized water into the pipe and forces clogs out of the pipe. We use this method for large clogs that can’t be removed by snakes or cutters.
The second method, drain snaking, is a simpler process that our technicians manually perform. A cable is sent down the drain, and once our experts find the clog, they cut it out and remove it. This method is quite versatile and can be used for toilet and drain clogs. Most importantly, we rely on drain snaking to remove issues within the drains, rather than the pipes.
