As a septic service provider, Freedom Plumbers and Pumpers, Septic & Drain has designed an inspection for every need and budget. Our thorough septic inspections are tiered into three separate levels, categorized based on the level of information required by the consumer who hires us for their Inspection needs. Our septic inspection tiers are Bronze, Gold, and Platinum. Please see below for details about each inspection.

Bronze: $495.00
Gold: $795.00
Platinum: $1400 – $2200
Regular SAP Inspection $795.00
Advanced SAP Inspection +$395.00
Shortened SAP Inspection due to Undue Burden -$395.00 (Must Qualify)
Bronze: $495.00

This type of inspection is for the buyer or seller who wants to get a minimum understanding of the conditions of the wastewater treatment Tank and fulfill the minimum requirements of a real estate transaction inspection order.

• Septic tank Pump Out and Inspection from an inlet or outlet access.
• Visual inspection, completed inspection form, and pumping manifest are included.

 Gold: $795.00

This type of inspection is for the buyer or seller who wants to understand the wastewater treatment system’s conditions and fulfill the requirements of a real estate transaction inspection order.

• Septic tank pump out and inspection (includes pumping manifest)
• Pump Chamber Inspection if present
• D-Box Inspection
• Field Walk Over
• Note: Price may vary if more than 1 D-Box is present

Platinum: $1400 – $2200

This type of inspection is for the consumer, who needs to know every detail, down to the nitty gritty, about the current condition of the wastewater treatment system.

• Septic Tank Pump Out & Inspection (includes pumping manifest)
• Pump Chamber Inspection, if present
• D-Box Inspection
• Sewer Video Inspection of Sewer Pipe
• Sewer Video Inspection of Conveyance Pipe
• Sewer Video Inspection of Header Lines
• Sewer Video Inspection of Drain Field Lines
• Updated As-Builts
• Call the local Health Department to request a copy of the original Permit & Plans. Provide copies to the Homeowner.
• Images & Videos
• Detailed Inspection Report of the entire system
• Recommendations and, if the Homeowner/Buyer is available during the Inspection, “How-To use my Septic System and keep it Running” Orientation.
• Note: Price Varies based on the number of D-Boxes.

Regular SAP Inspection $795.00

This inspection is for home projects that require a building permit and are on properties that have a septic system. This type of inspection is typically tied to additions and installations of pools, sheds, decks, etc.

• Contact the Health Department to get the property health department number, original permit, and design (If Available)
• Reach out to local jurisdiction to get Property Tax ID
• Excavate and expose the cover of the inlet or outlet side of the septic tank
• Excavate and expose the cover of the distribution box
• Complete the SAP Form

Advanced SAP Inspection +$395.00

This additional item:

• Camera locate, stake, and flag the location of the building sewer
• Camera locate, stake, and flag the location of the conveyance line
• Camera locate, stake, and flag the location of the outside parameter header lines.
• Camera locate, stake, and flag the location of the perimeter of the drain/dispersal field.

Shortened SAP Inspection due to Undue Burden -$395.00 (Must Qualify)

Note: Do not discuss this option with the homeowner over the phone. The septic inspector needs to address this. Critical criteria need to be met to qualify for this option. The following will not be done on an Undue Burden request for an SAP Inspection. The property owner’s signature acknowledging the need to request undue burden will be required.

• Excavate and expose the cover of the inlet or outlet side of the septic tank.
• Excavate and expose the cover of the distribution box
