Trenchless and No Dig Pipe Repair

Call (703)895-4109 to Learn More About Trenchless Sewer Services from Freedom Plumbers and Pumpers, Septic & Drain. Sewer pipes are typically buried 2 feet under the slab of your home and 10 feet below the surface of your yard. This is why traditional replacement methods require extensive jackhammering, excavation, pulling up dozens of feet of your slab, landscape, or even requiring porch, childhood tree or other yard installation removal. However, newer technology and methods allow replacements to take place without moving even a single inch of dirt! Just as it sounds, trenchless and no dig is the way to go. Trenchless and no dig sewer repair is faster, more cost-effective, and substantially easier on your home and business. However, it’s a project that requires care and precision and this is why our process always begins with an extensive evaluation of your sewer line using our cameras, locators and video software.

Using our cutting-edge video and camera systems to survey your drain line, we locate the precise source of your problem and offer a replacement service that restores your line completely and economically. In some cases, the damage is less severe than you expected, in which case trenchless repair is your option!

Methods to Repair Your Sewer Line

Using our sophisticated camera and video system we locate and assess the repair or replacement needed. Depending on the damage and its extent, we have various options for your sewer pipe repair or replacements done #TheFreedomWay.

  • Cast Iron DescalePipe Descaling is a fairly new process utilizing a specialized machine with specific attachments attached to a high revolution, rotating cable. This method is a lot safer on cast iron pipes that are in poor shape and cannot be cleaned out using a Hydro Jetter. With our specialized descaling machine we can scrape the corrosion off the inner walls of the cast iron pipe, so it can be flushed down the sewer.
  • Pipe Bursting RepairOne method for repair is called pipe bursting. This method uses an insertion machine that simultaneously breaks and removes the old piping while laying a new line of sewer piping.
  • Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP)Another method we can select is using cured-in-place pipe for a less-invasive, more economical and optimal repair. A felt lining is inserted into the damaged pipe. The resin within the liner is then exposed to a curing element that attaches the liner to the inner walls of the pipe. Once fully cured, the lining acts as a new pipeline.
  • Pipe Liner ReplacementIf your sewer pipe isn’t too extensively damaged, pipe lining is the quickest and most efficient type of trenchless sewer line replacement. With this method, a deflated but durable pipe liner is run through the damaged line, then inflated and sealed into place. This effectively replaces the line and seals any leaks, repairing your sewer line without the mess and damage to your landscape or yard installations.
  • Small Pipe Diameter Pipe CoatingThe Pipe Coating System is a sophisticated, fast and practical approach for drain and sewer renovations. This application is best suited for 1¼" - 12" pipes. No matter your sewer pipe damage, our trenchless methods provide options for a less invasive and more economical solution to your sewer repair or replacement.
